I.                    INTRODUCTION

Environmental problems causes a bad impacts on human health and resources. Not only humans are affected with the problems. We must also consider all creatures living on earth. We can’t deny the fact that that they are suffering beacause of us. Humans contributed major amount causing this problems. We must face it. We must do our part to help our environment for a good living

            As a students concerning our environment, we have done an activity for our environment.

II.                  METHODOLOGY

In making way to reduce waste material in our environment,we have done simple waste management. Waste management is a process of collecting, segragating  and transporting wastes for proper disposal. It help reduce bad effects to human health and enviroment. It also help alleviate the consumption of resources by recycling.

 Our group decided to go to 39.2 ,barangay fatima general santos city. We talked with the purok chairman that we would like to render community service.

Simultaneously, the Purok Chairman welcomed as and guide us in their respective place. He lead us to the purok hall and park. We sweep and clean the area. We segregated waste materials,the biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials.  We also recycle plastics and bottles. We disposed the waste properly.

III.               FINDINGS

As soon as we arrived at the area , we saw amp of trashes and bottles at the corner. Some bottles are broken that can cause accidents, especially for children  playing in the area.

Cellophanes were everywhere at the park, butt of cigarettes and leaves of trees planted at the hall, are mostly seen.

            The people in this place were negligent , for they don’t manage their waste properly, and worst, those waste materials are one of the main contributors of flood, global warming and other worst scenario.

IV.               CONCLUSION

Therefore, in the above findings, we can take actions helping our environment. The improper waste management and its increasing percentage of waste materials make a great effect in our environment and society. By helping our environment clean,we can help ourselves.

We must manage our waste properly and orderly. We shall take care all the things around us. Our creator made our environment for us, so we shall love and care our mother earth for our future survival...
